About Me – I am a Southern California native currently living in the state of Washington. My passions are computer technology, internet technology and photography. I’m not “great” in any of these areas, but I’m very good in all of them.

Pleasures in life point me to traveling the world. With nearly 30 countries under my belt visiting, I still feel I need to see everything! My passion for photography was kept alive through my travels. My favorite place I traveled to is Abidjan, Ivory Coast, Africa, where I lived for a few months with family after High School. The most visual place I’ve traveled in terms of being photographic, would be Prague, The Czech Republic . Next two trips planned in my head – visit South America a third time and see Argentina and Brazil, and the next will be in Southeast Asia [hopefully a jump from Vietnam, then Cambodia and finally Thailand]

My Interest in Photography – In 2010, it’s my goal to learn and become a professional portrait photographer. I look up to Clay Enos and Zack Arias as my favorite pros in the business. I always had a passion for photography, but it was always just a hobby. I fell in love with photography in High School and I’ve been hooked ever since. I didn’t become serious about photography until December 2008. I’ve learned more in the last 8 months than during the last 19 years of taking photos.

Story behind Gr8tFate.com – It was originally created as a blog [original blog] to feed into my Facebook.com profile through RSS. I would post random things about everything. I had so much fun blogging that I began focusing more on specific randomness. As a computer geek, I loved learning how to create my own website, social sites and forums through hosting on paid servers. Suddenly my passion for photography and my passion for internet content came together. The name Gr8tFate came to me because I loved the idea of having personal great fate. I added the number “8″ into the name, to make it unique. Today I focus on photography, Photoshop and stills from movies [to help promote the idea of "fan art"]. Around June 2010, Gr8tFate.com will become a Photography/Photoshop only website.
