Photoshop Retouching Cookbook

photoshop-retouching-cookboAs a teacher in my other profession, I’ve learned that too much information taught at the beginning can be missed later. To learn something, it has to be experienced, hands on repetition. The more you practice, the more you remember. This falls under the “self taught” category too. A personal example is Adobe Photoshop, which consistently kicks my ass because it has so much to learn. So it’s good to be reminded and here’s one for you.

Technology is my background and I was studying Scribd.com’s new SEO [search engine optimization] features on the website. I decided to search for things relevant to my personal interests and found a great refresher tutorial of the basics on Adobe Photoshop.

Photoshop Retouching Cookbook - An 87 page reminder of all the features built into Photoshop to help photographers touch-up their photos. I’m not doing a review on the cookbook, but offering you the chance to check it out and download it [click "more" and "save document"] . I was impressed with the content and rate it for the intermediate user of Photoshop. The .Pdf is a wake-up call for all the senses and a reminder of what you can do with your photos within Photoshop.
