G.I. Joe – The Rise of Cobra
As a child, GI Joe toys were my favorite choices to play with, and their comics were a fav of mine too. Obviously I’m dying to see how they did with the movie, “G.I. Joe – The Rise of Cobra“. This is possibly a date movie, offering Channing Tatum as eye candy for the girls, and Sienna Miller [Baroness] for the boys.
The movie producers chose to update nearly everything GIJOE was in the 80′s, to help keep it more realistic and create a future fan base for their toys and the possibility of future movies. Diehard fans of the original GIJOE are outraged with the updates, but it was an obvious decision from the producers not to follow that path.

Plot: An elite military unit comprised of special operatives known as G.I. Joe, operating out of The Pit, takes on an evil organization led by a notorious arms dealer.
