Tattooed Lady - Helping them build their first widget

By Dr Drew - Posted on 01 July 2008

A very close friend of mine [Joey Nielson] told me about a small clothing company he is working for to help market and sell their wares. Tattooed Lady's pitch:

"Tattooed Lady" brings Men & Women clothing inspired by traditional tattoo designs and Punk Rock music. If you're sick of the same 'ol shit the rest of the crowd's wearing then "Tattooed Lady" has what you need! If you're into Punk Rock, Psycho-billy, tattoos, vintage bikes, choppers, Hot Rods and pin-ups, then check out what "Tattooed Lady" has for you.

The company is relatively new and very small, but the consumers in this niche market love it. Tattooed Lady is marketing themselves on MySpace [their MySpace page], so I thought it would be a pleasant surprise to my friend Joey and his business partners at Tattooed Lady to receive a free marketing widget created by yours truly, so their fans could share and post on their own MySpace page or website.

Viral marketing is a strong way of getting a business's name out to the public. I decided to create the widget for two reasons, one and most importantly, as a friendly gesture; secondly, to see how well this form of viral marketing actually pans out. I love to do research on new strategies, and SproutBuilder's widget builder also allows statistics on the widget.

To my friend Joey and the rest of the team at Tattooed Lady, post this widget found below on your MySpace page and ask your friends and fans to do the same on their own MySpace pages. If you would like to know the stats on your widget, simply ask Joey to call me :)
